Northern Virginia Pride Prom

Safe Space NOVA is pleased to announce its second annual Northern Virginia Pride Prom, co-hosted by the City of Alexandria Office of the Arts, which coincides with the 5th anniversary of the momentous event! Pride Prom has been a tremendous support to LGBTQIA+ youth in the past, and we aim to give another 300 queer and trans youth from all over the DC-Maryland-Virginia metro area a night to remember.

About Safe Space NOVA’s Pride Prom: Pride Prom is an opportunity for gender-diverse and sexual minority high schoolers to attend a prom with pride, dress however they are most comfortable, and dance without fear with whomever they choose! Our LGBTQIA+ Student Ambassadors have selected New York State of Mind as their theme because nothing is more iconic than NYC Pride! From Broadway to Studio 54 to the Rockettes, it’s going to be gay-mazing!

Tickets are available NOW starting at $40! This price includes access to fun, friends, and tons of fanfare!  On-site activities such as collaborative art and body painting are included in the cost of admission. All ticketed attendees are also eligible to win phenomenal door prizes, including gift cards, Nats tickets, books, games, Pride apparel, and more! Additionally, attendees may purchase art from the resident artists and invited artists in attendance at the event and pride swag at the event through cash, charge, or Venmo.
