DESCRIPTION
At Black Hoof, we brew a variety of beers with an emphasis on traditional, true-to-style German lagers and European ales. Our tap lineup is constantly changing and evolving to include beers for each holiday and season. We offer a warm, welcoming taproom, delicious brews, and friendly, knowledgeable staff.

Answer: It is neither required nor recommended

Answer: I'm not sure.
Question: Do you feel that your policies and procedures cover LGBTQ-specific needs for all of your employees, staff, and volunteers?
Answer: As we grow to a second location this year, we will incorporate anti-discrimination language in our hiring documents.
Question: Do you feel that your policies and procedures cover LGBTQ-specific needs for your those who rely on your service?
Answer: We do not have LGBTQ-specific references in our policies and procedures.
Question: How well do you feel that you and your staff are doing at creating an accepting and affirming presence for the LGBTQ+ community?
Answer: I would say our staff and space are generally friendly, non-hostile, and open to all people. And we host drag events monthly that are specifically positive for the LGBTQ+ community.

Answer: We have supported Equality Loudoun as a Pride '22 Beer Garden partner and have hosted an event to support Equality Loudoun at our brewery taproom.

Answer: We seek to promote diversity in our hiring, but do not have specific quotas or outreach.

Answer: Our staff members have all been involved in our LGBTQ+ friendly events and understand our position to promote inclusivity.

Answer: We would like to learn more about incorporating queer-inclusive policies as our organization grows.
