DESCRIPTION
I am Dr. Mariel Herbert (she/her), a board-certified psychiatrist (MD). My outpatient psychiatry and psychotherapy practice is dedicated to personalized, trauma-informed mental health care for adults (18+). I offer psychiatric consultations, psychiatric medications, and individual and group therapy. I am licensed in California, Maryland, and Virginia, and currently welcoming new patients in Northern Virginia for in person and telehealth appointments. People are complex and deserve quality care. I strive to be inclusive and work with creative, neurodiverse, and LGBTQIA+ persons.

Answer: I don’t use these practices.

Answer: Out of network/direct pay with superbill for PPO reimbursement, sliding scale possible for established patients
