DESCRIPTION
Wellness Loudoun is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization based in the heart of Ashburn, VA. We warmly welcome you to a community committed to enhancing mental, physical, and emotional health. Join us in our mission to promote well-being through our diverse range of resources and supportive programs.

Question: What percent of your organization identifies as part of the LGBTQ+ community?
Answer: Unknown
Question: What are your policies on LGBTQ+ trainings?
Answer: It is neither required nor recommended.
Question: How often do you require or recommend LGBTQ+ inclusive training?
Answer: We have not yet established this but aim to in the future as our capacity grows.
Question: Which best describes your current policies and procedures for your LGBTQ+ staff?
Answer: We follow Crossroads UMC policies and I believe we have policies written specifically for the protection of LGBTQ+ individuals.

Answer: We have policies written specifically for the protection of LGBTQ+ individuals.
Question: How do you create a positive space for the LGBTQ+ community?
Answer: We have year-round shows of support that are specifically affirming or positive for the LGBTQ+ community.

Question: What type of non-profit organization do you represent? Briefly describe your mission.
Answer: Mental, physical and emotional support nonprofit - The mission of Wellness Loudoun is to save lives and restore hope by providing a safe, welcoming environment and community for mental, emotional and physical well-being.
Question: Do you have any LGBTQ+ board members? Include any information, if possible, about how they represent LGBTQ+ issues in your organization.
Answer: Several of our board members are parents of children within the LGBTQ+ community.
Question: Do you supply any training materials to individuals in your organization, or outside of your organization? If so, what do those materials entail?
Answer: We have yet to develop queer-inclusive training materials but would be very interested in receiving recommendations on which to use.
Question: How do you make your organization a safe and affirming place for LGBTQ+ people to be?
Answer: We are a safe and welcoming place for all and display the PFLAG sign on our church sign and front door to let everyone know we are an inclusive and loving space for everyone.
Question: In your fundraising activities, do you solicit funds from non-affirming organizations? If so, which organizations?
Answer: We have not begun fundraising outreach as we are just getting established.
