DESCRIPTION
Neutral Ground Counseling Group, LLC is a private mental health counseling practice in Northern Virginia providing affirming and supportive care for our LGBTQIAGEP2+ clients and their families. We incorporate the idea of a neutral ground in our practice and strive to provide our clients with a therapeutic space that is free of judgment and negativity. It is a place where we meet the client where they are; not where others expect them to be.

Answer: More than 10%.

Answer: Everyone is required to have LGBTQ-specific training.

Answer: All employees are required to complete the WPATH foundations course in their first year of employment

Answer: We have a general anti-discrimination clause that covers LGBTQ and other marginalized groups.

Answer: Yes
Question: Do you encourage, use, or suggest any of the following treatments: conversion therapy (or any therapy that tries to change a person’s identity or orientation); faith-based therapy that describes LGBTQ+ identities as bad, wrong, or harmful; ambush or inundation therapy that exposes a patient to regular anti-LGBTQ+ information or causes confrontation with large groups?
Answer: If an employee was found to use any of those listed above, they would be terminated immediately. They are harmful and are banned from use in my practice.
