Answer: It is neither required nor recommended.

Answer: We require annual training.


Question: Do you feel that your policies and procedures cover LGBTQ-specific needs for all of your employees, staff, and volunteers?

Answer: We have used references from LGBTQ+ organizations to build our policies and procedures.


Question: Do you feel that your policies and procedures cover LGBTQ-specific needs for your those who rely on your service?

Answer: We have a general anti-discrimination clause that cover LGBTQ and other marginalized groups.


Question: How well do you feel that you and your staff are doing at creating an accepting and affirming presence for the LGBTQ+ community?

Answer: We have year-round shows of support that are specifically affirming or positive for the LGBTQ+ community.

Question: How do you make sure you are employing a diverse group of people that are qualified for the job?

Answer: We are a start-up company and are currently developing our policies. Our mission is to provide opportunities for a diverse group of people in typically underrepresented fields.


Question: What are you doing to make your business a safe space in the community for LGBTQ+ people?

Answer: We strive to give a safe space for everyone to present themselves as they choose. We recommend putting preferred pronouns in our employee's email signatures and LinkedIn bios and publish internal content highlighting our support for the LGBTQ+ community.


Question: Do you provide all-gendered/non-gendered/unisex restrooms or have a trans-inclusive bathroom policy at your place of business?

Answer: N/A - We are a remote company
